We work with your child on increasing positive behaviors while reducing problematic behaviors. We design our one-on-one therapy sessions based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, ABA.
Applied Behavior Analysis, ABA, is an evidence-based treatment that:
•Improves compliance, attention, focus, social skills, and memory.
•Increases language and communication skills.
•Decreases tantrums, physical aggression, property destruction, and repetitive behaviors.
We file both Medicaid and commercial insurance claims.
Commercial plans accepted: Blue Cross and Tricare
Medicaid plans accepted: Amerigroup, BlueCare, and Tenncare Select.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based treatment for autism spectrum disorder. Scientific research indicates two factors that greatly influence the efficacy of ABA therapy: how many hours of therapy your child receives each week and how many years they participate in a therapy program.
We present a unique opportunity for your child to develop their social skills! During group activities the technician will help guide your child's behavior.
Before starting therapy, we will perform a comprehensive assessment of your child's skills and abilities. We use that information to design an individualized treatment plan targeting their unique needs.
Change is possible! Everyday we use Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to help kids with autism (and their families!) achieve small victories that build up to a whole new outlook on life!
Clients might experience higher rates of success during treatment that is provided in a center setting rather than in the client’s home (Dixon, Burns, Granpeesheh, Amarasinghe, Powell, & Linstead, 2017).
We will do our best to work around your schedule; however, it might be necessary for your child to miss school to attend therapy sessions. If your child is engaging in behaviors that prevent learning, you might consider ABA therapy now so that your child will be successful at school in the future.
Session length varies. We highly recommend that clients who engage in potentially dangerous behaviors (physical aggression, property destruction, elopement, self-injurious behavior, etc.) receive at least eight to ten hours of ABA therapy a week.
